Ask about your books. Your AI assistant answers.
Kontevia connects to Claude and ChatGPT through an open connector standard. Connect your data and ask in your own language: how much did I spend, what is overdue, how much VAT will I pay. The assistant reads and suggests; every write waits for your approval in the dashboard.
Which invoices are overdue and how much is outstanding?
2 overdue invoices, €2,570 in total. Oldest: Nordwind GmbH, €1,428, 12 days late. Want me to draft a reminder? It will wait for your approval.
How it works
Connect
In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste the Kontevia connector address. In ChatGPT: developer mode. You sign in with your Kontevia account, like 'Sign in with Google'.
Ask
Overdue invoices, VAT for the quarter, top suppliers by spend, upcoming deadlines. The assistant reads your real documents and answers with figures, not general advice.
Let it draft
Ask for an invoice or upload a receipt from the chat. The assistant prepares a draft that waits in the dashboard for your approval.
Revoke any time
One click in Settings ends the access. The assistant sees only your account's data, never anyone else's.
Reading and suggesting, nothing more
Of the connector's tools, most only read: document lists, VAT summary, overdue invoices, bank matching status, tax calendar. A few create drafts: an invoice, an uploaded document, a prepared filing. A draft never goes to a customer or an authority on its own; you approve it in the dashboard.
This split is deliberate. An assistant that could send or delete would be a risk in your books. One that reads and drafts saves you the searching and the typing, and leaves the decisions where they belong.
Honest limits
Approving, rejecting or deleting documents through the assistant is not possible; it shows you the queue, the click happens in the app. Exact totals for a custom period may be approximate for accounts with hundreds of documents, because the assistant sums a paginated list. Payment matching is read-only through the connector.
Questions use credits included in your plan: a typical question one credit, an invoice draft three. During the trial no credits are deducted.

Which assistants are supported?
Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code) and ChatGPT through developer mode. Listing in the official connector catalogues is in progress; Gemini and Copilot are on the roadmap.
