How it works

1

Data collects itself

Every extracted document and matched payment flows into the overviews continuously, without compiling anything by hand.

2

Monthly overview

Expenses by category, income, cash flow and a comparison with the previous month in one place.

3

Trend alerts

When expenses in a category leave their usual range, you get an alert, for example a jump in travel costs.

4

Export in one click

Excel per line item and CSV for your own processing; for Czech companies also Pohoda, Money S3 and ISDOC.

Numbers you see in time can still be changed

Most small businesses find out how they are doing once a year from their accountant. That is late: runaway costs, unpaid invoices and approaching thresholds are best handled in the month they arise. An overview that compiles itself from everyday documents gives a picture of the business continuously, not in hindsight.

Trend alerts add a second pair of eyes: when costs in a category leave their usual range, you hear about it immediately. Not complex analytics, but timely nudges of the kind 'look, travel is noticeably more expensive this month'.

One set of records, an output for everyone

The same data is needed by several people in different forms: the accountant wants an import into their software, the bank wants a statement, the tax authority wants provable items and you want a quick overview on your phone. That is why Kontevia keeps one set of records and offers outputs from it: Excel per line item, CSV that Sage, Xero or Surf can import, and for Czech companies Pohoda, Money S3 and ISDOC. DATEV and Odoo exports are planned.

The export is always over a chosen period and in one click. From every figure you can click through to the source document with the original photo, so the outputs can be defended item by item.

Frequently asked questions

Which overviews does Kontevia compile?

A monthly overview of expenses by category, an overview of income from issued invoices, the development of cash flow with a connected bank and comparisons with previous periods. Everything is compiled continuously from extracted documents, so the overview is current whenever you look.

How do the alerts for unusual expenses work?

The system compares expenses in each category with your usual range. When a category deviates markedly, for example travel rises by a fifth against the average, you get an alert. It saves going through spreadsheets by hand.

In which formats can data be exported?

Excel per document line item and CSV for your own processing or import into Sage, Xero or Surf. For Czech companies also Pohoda XML, Money S3, ISDOC and the VAT return and control statement files. DATEV, Odoo and structured e-invoices are planned. Export is always one click over the selected period.

Will the overviews serve in a tax audit?

Yes. Behind every figure in the overview there is a document with the original photo or PDF, so you can prove individual items. An export for the chosen period takes a minute to prepare.
