DATEV export
DATEV is the standard exchange format for tax advisors in Germany and Austria. A DATEV posting batch (Buchungsstapel) export is planned, so your Steuerberater can import documents without retyping. It is not available yet; today the CSV export covers the same data.

You will choose the period and the DATEV client and consultant numbers your advisor gave you.

Kontevia will map your categories to SKR03 or SKR04 accounts.

You will download the EXTF CSV batch and the document images.

Your advisor imports the batch into DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen.
What is transferred
- Posting records with account, contra account, amount and VAT key
- Document date, booking text and document number
- Document images linked by reference
- Open items for receivables and payables
Frequently asked questions
When will DATEV export be available?
It is on the roadmap, without a fixed date. Until then, the CSV export covers the same data in a format most advisors can map.
Do I need DATEVconnect?
No. The batch is a file your advisor imports; no DATEV account is required on your side.
Which chart of accounts will be supported?
The plan covers SKR03 and SKR04 for Germany and the Austrian Einheitskontenrahmen.
