Frequently asked questions
Which banks read EPC QR codes?
Most banking apps in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and other euro-area countries read EPC QR codes. Support outside the euro area varies; Czech banks use their own SPD format, which the tool also generates.
What is in the code?
The EPC standard: service tag, version, recipient name, IBAN, optional BIC, amount in EUR and a free-text message or structured reference. No personal data beyond what you type.
Can I put the code on my invoices?

Is the amount limited?
