E-invoicing
myDATA
The Greek digital bookkeeping platform of the tax authority AADE, where invoices and accounting entries are reported electronically.
What myDATA means
myDATA (my Digital Accounting and Tax Application) is the platform through which Greek businesses transmit the data of their issued invoices, received documents and accounting classifications to the tax authority. The reported data pre-fills the VAT and income tax returns, and a discrepancy between the books and myDATA triggers checks.
Reporting is done by certified e-invoicing providers, by accounting software connected to the API, or manually through the portal for very small volumes. Greece is extending the system with a B2B e-invoicing mandate phased in during 2026, alongside Peppol for the actual exchange of the invoice. Kontevia is prepared to submit invoice summaries and classifications to myDATA and to keep the Greek MARK identifiers with the documents.
